Father's Promised Gift --- Acts 1:1-11

Published on May 17, 2026 at 2:31 p.m.

Over the past few weeks, we've journeyed from Jesus' crucifixion to the overwhelming joy of His resurrection. Today marks the 40th day of Eastertide, the day of His Ascension. The Ascension isn't Jesus' absence but His royal enthronement. We now stand like the first disciples — between the Ascension and the coming of the Spirit, between longing and mission. Jesus invites us to wait for God's gift, to rely on the Spirit’s power, and to focus not on the sky but on the world He sends us to love. The Greatest Gift from the Father is God Himself — living within us, meeting us in our wait, and filling us with hope. It's wonderful to see God's promises fulfilled! Let's gather regularly for worship. Everyone is warmly invited — whether you are tired, hopeful, or seeking renewal — to come together and experience God's refreshing presence. Come, all are welcome!
