Therefore,
I urge you, brothers and sisters,
in view of God’s mercy,
to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Romans 12:1

"I Am the Bread of Life." --- John 6:44-69

Today is World Communion Sunday. On this special day, we join people of faith around the world at Christ’s welcoming table—a place where all are invited, and everyone belongs. As we reflect on Jesus’ words, “I Am the Bread of Life,” we’ll consider how they guide our faith and shape our lives. Come as you are to be nourished by Christ’s love, renewed in hope, and united as one beloved family of God.

"Is the LORD among us or not?" --- Ex. 17:1-7; Ps. 78:1-4

As we gather for worship this Sunday, Anthony Siegrist, executive minister of MCEC, will join us to share a message of hope.  He writes, “As a community of faith, we are like the ancient Hebrew people. We are on a journey through a challenging landscape. What worked in another place, no longer does. Very little stays the same. With the Hebrew pilgrims, we wonder if God is with us.” Yet their story reminds us that through every generation, wilderness, and new horizon, God has remained faithful and near. The God who guided our ancestors in faith continues to lead us toward renewal, courage, and deliverance. All are warmly welcome to worship with us at Brussels Mennonite Fellowship.

Renewing Our Minds --- Romans 12:1-8

Wondering how to discern God's good, pleasing, and perfect will for us? Apostle Paul's teaching is timely: not to be conformed to the world's pattern but to be transformed by renewing our minds. In a world filled with pressure and competing voices, the Spirit of God lovingly teaches us to recognize what is truly good, pleasing, and perfect—not by following our automatic thoughts or others'—but by letting His Spirit reshape our thinking, perspectives, and actions. As we gather in worship, let's do so with open hearts, humble minds, and a readiness to be guided more deeply into God's wonderful plan for us. All are welcome!

Seeing the Father in the face of Jesus --- John 14:7-14

This weekend, we continue to reflect on Jesus’ comforting words to his anxious disciples in times of uncertainty and fear. When Phillip said, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us,"  Jesus' response was crystal clear: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”
