Seeing the Father in the face of Jesus --- John 14:7-14

Published on September 6, 2026 at 5:49 p.m.

This weekend, we continue to reflect on Jesus’ comforting words to his anxious disciples in times of uncertainty and fear. When Phillip said, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us,"  Jesus' response was crystal clear: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

We are invited to see that God is not distant or silent but is made known in the person of Jesus—in his love, his truth, his mercy, his cross, and his resurrection.  As we reflect, may our eyes be opened, our faith grow stronger, and our spirits be renewed. No matter where you're coming from or what burdens you carry, know that you are a beloved child of God. We warmly invite you to worship with us this weekend, and we welcome you to bring your family and friends. All are welcome!
